Many churches provide essential support to ACCI Missions through becoming One Life Partners. This monthly (or yearly) financial commitment makes the everyday operations of ACC International possible. Our OneLife Partners make significant contributions that support the entire operations of ACCI Missions - we could not achieve the results we are seeing today without our partners!
Partnership supports the work of missions throughout our denominations - through conferences, campaigns such as ONE DAY, and printed and online media. Our Partner churches are also resourced with media, reports and other resource to promote missions within their congregations, in addition to receiving discounts to conferences and events hosted by ACCI Missions throughout the year.
Support levels vary from tithing missions income, to making a specific monthly commitment. If your church is considering becoming a One Life Partner, we would love to talk to you about your specific situation and find out what level of support best suits your church. Partners in Ministry:
ACS Financial is our financial services organisation, wholly owned by the ACC Movement. They have been serving clients and partners for over 25 years, and are proud to be contributing to the success of our movement both in Australia and overseas.
But what can insurance, commercial lending, investment management and advisory services really do to support
missions? A surprising amount! ACS Financial has gotten creative in their outworking of social responsibility. They have a goal to develop sustainable funding models that will seed missions and relief programs at ACC International.
One key initiative is to offer personal insurance like no other currently available in the market. Not only will ACS Financial offer protection to consumers, but, just as importantly, these products will contribute to programs that ACCI run and make a difference to peoples’ lives overseas, who experience poverty and other vulnerabilities. When an individual chooses to switch their personal insurance to ACS Financial and select ACCI as their Christian charity of choice, ACS Financial will distribute a share of the premium towards the mission of ACCI. These personal insurance products will be like no other on offer by any insurance company in Australia.
Beyond this funding stream, ACS Financial also seeks to provide services and products to better equip the work of ACCI.
This is a financial services organisation which operates in the area of social responsibility not with rhetoric, but with integrity, wisdom and dedication to the cause. We are grateful for their continued support and partnership!
They operate across four key areas of business across the financial services landscape, these include:
- Insurance Services
- Commercial Lending
- Investment Management
- Advisory Services
ACS Financial is committed to serving Christian churches, schools and theological colleges and broadening their reach across the Australian Christian community. As they continue to grow, so too does their energy and commitment to social responsibility, namely through partnership with ACCI.
The team at ACS Financial is excited by the future and the opportunity to further protect and grow the mission of the ACC Movement.
Alphacrucis College (AC) is an integral part of our movement, and has a genuine commitment to train people for effective cross cultural ministry. AC has over 25 subjects available in missions and cross cultural ministry, offered across VET, Bachelors and Masters levels, as well as opportunities to pursue further research up to a Doctoral level.
Pathways are also available for those who just want to “get their tools and go!” Many of these courses are available for ‘audit’ (participation with minimal assessment) for those who don’t wish to engage in a whole academic program at this time.
One key program offered at Alphacrucis College is the World Harvest Institute (WHI) missionary training course. A large number of current ACCI field workers have taken the WHI course as part of their preparation, as it practically equips people to know how to build effective long term ministries in cross-cultural settings. Penny Nakanishi, ACCI Missionary to Japan recently reflected on her time at the WHI course;
“Looking back, I can say that one of the highlights of my time studying at AC was doing the six week World Harvest Institute missionary training course. I am now serving in northern Japan
as a career field worker with ACCI. Even though I had lived in Japan before, one of the big eye openers for me was learning how important it is for missionaries to become students in their new culture and learn from indigenous people how best to bring God’s love to the host culture. It was a very humbling experience, but very necessary. World Harvest Institute prepared me well for what I am now doing on the field!”
For all those whose dream is to work in missions and cross- cultural ministries - AC is here to help you get there!
