Conference commences on Monday evening (6pm) with the Director’s Dinner. Each day (Tues – Thurs) will then run from 9am – 12:30pm // 6pm-8pm, with some electives/additional meetings to run in the afternoons. This schedule is designed to allow you plenty of time to connect with ACCI Field Workers and build relationships with them.
The cost of the Directors Dinner is included in all conference registrations.
Yes! We welcome all children to attend. We run a full kids program each day and night for children aged 3 – 13 years. Infants are also welcome to attend, however we do not have the resources to care for them so they will need to stay with their parents/carer. We also run a Youth program in the afternoons for kids aged 13-18years.
Yes, everyone is welcome to attend PanAsia Conference.
I am a missionary who has been sent to the field through another organization / church. Can I attend PanAsia?
Yes, you may attend however only field workers sent through ACCI will have the opportunity to present to conference. We also ask that you refrain from approaching pastors in attendance for financial support. ACCI field workers know that PanAsia is not a time to request funds from anyone, the emphasis on conference is strengthening partnerships and establishing new relationships, not fundraising.
Field workers who have been sent to the field through ACCI will receive complimentary registration for PanAsia. This extends to include their spouse and dependent children. Those who are eligible should have received an email from the ACCI Operations Centre with the required discount code. If you have not received this, please contact your Field Manager.
Unfortunately ACCI doesn’t have the resources to extend free registration to all field workers. Only those sent through ACCI are entitled to this.
We ask our volunteers to be willing to serve in our children’s program, which may mean missing 1 or 2 conference sessions (ie. 1 morning + 1 evening session), and/or assisting in service with hosting, offering, etc. The more volunteers we have at conference, the less you will be asked to do! If you are arriving early and available to help with our Missionary kids on Monday (all day) this would be greatly appreciated.
We have a Kids Pastor running our children’s program and simply need adults to assist with supervision. However, we will require all volunteers to submit a current Working With Children Check (or their state’s equivalent) two weeks prior to conference.
Anyone 16 years and up is welcome to volunteer at conference.
No, your conference registration only covers Monday night’s Director’s Dinner, morning tea (Tuesday – Thursday) and access to all conference sessions. If you would like to stay on site at the Novotel Phuket Resort you will need to book directly with them. All delegates are responsible for their own accommodation and expenses.
Yes, the Novotel have special rates for all PanAsia delegates. Simply follow the instructions found at https://www.accimissions.org.au/panasia2019, ensuring you enter the Promo Code. This will link you to the conference group and give you daily buffet breakfast for all guests.
I am booking my accommodation at the Novotel and they have asked for a copy of my Passport. Is this normal?
Yes, most international hotels require a copy of each guest’s passports to comply with their local tourism/immigration laws. If you are not comfortable with emailing this to the Novotel ahead of your stay simply advise them that they can take a copy of it upon check-in. They are generally very happy to do this.
I’m booking my accommodation at the Novotel and they are asking for my credit card details and/or prepayment. Is this normal?
Yes. Many international hotels require your credit card details to secure your booking and may also request prepayment (either partial or full) to guarantee your booking. There is usually a cut-off date at which time you can cancel/amend your reservation and obtain a full refund, after this date you may be required to pay 1 nights accommodation if you cancel. Please read the conditions when making your booking.
If you are staying at the Novotel Phuket Resort you may request an airport transfer at the time of booking your accommodation (additional costs will apply).
In order for ACCI to continue to offer a promotional rate at the Novotel Phuket Resort we do have minimum numbers required. For this reason we do ask that wherever possible our delegates opt to book via the link found on our page https://www.accimissions.org.au/panasia2019
However, we do acknowledge that this may be possible for all delegates, in which case there are many other hotels in the direct vicinity of the Novotel Phuket resort of varying rates. The easiest way to find one that suits your needs/budget is to use google maps. ACCI does not have affiliations/offers available at any hotel other than the Novotel Phuket Resort.
ACCI have a limited number of rooms on hold at the Novotel Phuket Resort. We strongly advise you to book by Monday 10 June, 2019 to avoid disappointment. After this date we cannot guarantee availability. It is also possible that our allocation will sell out prior to this date.
If you advise us well ahead of conference we will make every effort to ensure that your dietary needs are met. Please email Vanessa if you are concerned (email@example.com). If you choose to stay at the Novotel Phuket for the duration of conference we also recommend that you advise them of your dietary requirements when confirming your accommodation.
