Our Field Workers are our heroes. They are working in nations throughout the world to see the gospel extended, communities empowered and individuals made whole.
Field Workers are those who have a passion to serve on the field in Missions or Development work. They use ACCI as their primary sending organisation, and as such ACCI manages their funding, provides coaching and support, as well as develops organisational and financial support structures for them. Our Field Workers have skills in collaboration, are intentional and strategic thinkers, have a willingness to learn and develop, and a simple and effective communication style. Does this sound like you too?!
We have two types of Field Worker positions:
A Ministry Field Worker is someone who has demonstrated a proven ministry within Australia and desires to serve as a traditional Missionary in the field. Ministry activities might include evangelism, indigenous leadership training, church planting and community development initiatives.
A Specialist Field Worker is someone who will serve in an alternative capacity to traditional ministry, and an ACC Credential is not a pre-requisite. This may include a project manager for humanitarian aid and development project, a nurse working on a community health program or a tradesperson working on a building program.
